Job Description:
The main function of a test engineer is to research and test the design, functionality and maintenance of products, equipment, systems and processes and develop quality standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Hands-on experience on 2D or 3D camera module test, calibration and characterization
- Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields such as chemical, electrical, or mechanical.
- Design test plan and perform end to end test setup, data collection, and analysis for setting up test specs and validation
- Improve test coverage by developing lab and factory tests, including metrology and algorithm development
- Module level failure analysis
- Review and approve sampling procedures and designs, forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
- Experience in E2E production/factory test is a plus (proto-build to mass production)
- 5 years professional experience characterizing, testing, or designing semiconductor devices, imagers, depth cameras, or similar
- 2 years experience with bringup and debugging of electronic devices
- 2 years experience with statistical data analysis
- Precise verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability
- Strong data analysis capability in Python or Matlab
- Test automation capability in Python or Matlab
- Image processing background is a plus
- Signal processing for depth measurement systems is a plus
- Masters degree in optics, electrical engineering, applied physics, or similar
