Position Type: Full-Time
Shift : 2 nd shift: 2:00p-10:00p or 3:00p-11:00p
Pay : $ 28.00 -$3 6 .00/hourly based on experience.
Shift differential of $1.75 offered.
ResponsibilitiesThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic systems, feeder systems, and production machines, using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments. Responsibilities include:
- Repairing and maintaining machinery according to diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications.
- Observing mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble.
- Performing preventative and scheduled maintenance on all machinery, equipment, and buildings.
- Operating and understanding all equipment necessary for completing assigned tasks.
- Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various machinery and electrical/mechanical equipment.
- Ensuring operation of machinery by completing maintenance requirements.
- Maintaining communication with other departments, management, and employees regarding production efficiency.
- Installing and testing all new equipment and auxiliary equipment.
- Recording data on service, labor hours, and maintenance activities.
- Reading and interpreting technical procedures, electrical schematics, and service manuals.
- Completing work orders in a timely manner with high-quality standards.
- Analyzing data and performing mathematical calculations.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is a plus.
- Experience: 2-5 years of relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Following all safety protocols, including Lock Out~Tag Out and Safe Electrical practices.
- Managing time effectively and meeting deadlines.
- Communicating project status effectively.
- Being readily available for emergency repairs in breakdown situations.
- Improving job knowledge by attending training.
- Reporting unsafe conditions.
- Ensuring good housekeeping in work area.
- Demonstrating organizational skills by working independently and with a team.
