US Enhanced is Hiring a Maintenance Technician-Manufacturing-3rd shift Near Cambridge, MD

Position: 3rd shift Manufacturing Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location/Site: Cambridge, MD
Pay: Pay: $25.98-31.00 -based on experience
  • Any shift hours worked after 3p during work week there is a 35-cent differential
  • Saturday day shift there is a 50 cent differential. If work past 3 on a Saturday they get 50 cent 35 cent (total of 85 cent shift diff erential )
Job OverviewWe are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance activities to repair, improve, and ensure the proper functioning of equipment within specified operating parameters. This role involves executing maintenance tasks, identifying new problems, and ensuring the completion of work with accuracy.
Areas Of Responsibility/Key Accountabilities
  • Utilize electrical, mechanical, or a combination of both skills to resolve breakdown issues with minimal impact on production.
  • Conduct regular maintenance, process improvements, and project activities to minimize equipment breakdown delays and maximize process capability to achieve production and quality targets.
  • Complete all planned maintenance activities within the specified timeframe of the PM schedule.
  • Actively engage in personal development to enhance technical skills and knowledge and stay updated on changes in engineering best practices.
  • Ensure accurate and high-standard completion of work directed by the Engineering Supervisor within agreed timescales.
  • Make effective decisions regarding the cost of repairs.
  • Strive to find better and more efficient ways of repairing and maintaining machinery.
  • Adhere to the requirements of the PACE program.
  • Collaborate with the operations group to develop a team approach to asset maintenance.
  • Utilize the MVP computerized maintenance management system for work order management and documentation.
  • Communicate completed work orders and relevant information to supervisors and record in MVP Plant.
  • Enter work orders for items discovered that need repair.
  • Complete observational cards or other site-specific tools to promote Health and Safety behavior.
Person Specification (Minimum Requirements)
  • Education & Certifications: Technical school/training, military technical training, or equivalent experience.
  • Job Specific Technical Requirements: Engineering qualifications (must), mechanical, electrical, and automation knowledge, experience in corrugator or converting manufacturing processes, service-oriented with a sense of urgency.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in a position in a corrugated manufacturing environment, good communication skills, able to work systematically and rigorously, fluent in English.
