Production/Operations ManagerReports To: VP of Manufacturing/Fabrication
Schedule: Monday-Thursday; 7:00a-5:30p; Friday; ½ days. (Occasional Saturday hours).
Location: Archdale, NC
Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for driving innovation and operational excellence? In this pivotal role as Production-Operations Manager , you will oversee all facets of our production lines including fiber lasers, press brake, stamping, welding, and fabrication, ensuring seamless and efficient operations while maintaining top-notch product quality and compliance with safety standards. You will lead and inspire our workforce, implementing strategies to boost productivity and reduce costs . We’re looking for a visionary who can identify and tackle potential issues proactively, ensuring uninterrupted productivity. With resources at your disposal for growth, you will have the opportunity to expand our business and drive continued success.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the plant’s labor force and production lines
  • Ensure overall quality of production
  • Coordinate and optimize production schedules and factory utilization
  • Implement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs
  • Enforce health and safety regulations
  • Align production goals with company objectives
  • Provide strong leadership and support to the workforce
  • Communicate effectively with management and teams
  • Develop and refine workflow policies
  • Analyze financial data for strategic decision-making with executive management
  • Oversee and improve operational systems and processes
  • Collaborate with sales teams to achieve targets
  • Participate in long-term planning and project management
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients and vendors
Qualifications
  • 5 years in manufacturing operations, 3 in a supervisory role
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Industrial Fabrication or Manufacturing
  • Proficiency in understanding welding and machining, drawings, OSHA regulations, and Lean Manufacturing concepts
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
