Job Responsibilities:

• Research discrepancies with documentation (i.e. purchase orders, vendor invoices, etc.) for ensuring accuracy.
• Ensure correct payments are made in a timely manner.
• Review handling and coding of invoices to maintain general ledger expense account.
• Analyze expense reports and other invoices for accuracy and eligibility for payment.
• Generate checks for signature by reviewing backup support and applicable records.
• Maintain various fiscal information, files, and records to provide up to date reference and audit trail.
• Ensure proper maintenance, filing, and storage of records.
• Clarify questionable items, prices, or discrepancies and compare with system.
• Working with Purchasing Managers; follow up with warehouse on other questions as they arise.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience: 

• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Thorough understanding of accounts payable functions.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong data entry and computer skills; experience with accounting software.
