Scope:
Under minimal supervision, provides nursing care from initial patient contact through high dose chemotherapy followed by stem cell rescue to follow-up care post stem cell rescue. Nurse will also provide care to patients undergoing Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-Cell Therapy. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to provide for assessment and therapeutic management of patient/family needs. Responsible for IEC Program development and compliance with FACT Standards and certain other Quality Management activities within IEC Program such as audits or other quality metrics.
