Job Description
- Stocks break rooms
- Follows specific procedures to perform cleaning of clinical rooms
- Uses industrial cleaning agents and equipment following appropriate safety procedures
- Operates mechanical floor cleaners, polishers, and vacuums
- Moves furniture and other objects as needed to ensure adequate cleaning
- Maintain sidewalks including snow and leaf removal
- Daily laundry
- Light maintenance: Changing filters, cleaning ice machines, climbing a ladder to change light bulbs.
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
- Drive to off-sites
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Completes department-specific projects, such as patient tracking and follow-up.
- Minimum of High School Diploma
- Previous medical office experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical insurance rules preferred
- Experience using an electronic medical record preferred
- Ability to work effectively and independently within their work area, staying on task.
- Demonstrates understanding and appreciation for diversity for CFH patients and CFH employees.
- Routine testing/training on various job-related skills and competencies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to communicate in a friendly, helpful manner with all patients and co-workers.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Physical Demands: Pushing patients in wheelchairs.
- Skills Required: Computer/office work
- Background Requirements: Previous work experience in finance or related field.
