Reimagine What’s Possible The OJT should have proven experience within the Port Manatee Manufacturing Facility, or equivalent experience in a pressure vessel manufacturing environment. They will have a deep technical knowledge and understanding of the work performed on the shop floor as well as our standards and procedures. They will have effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate trainees. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Work side by side with personnel to help develop and improve their technical skills and abilities to better perform their everyday duties. Mentor shop personnel and provide guidance and instruction on the “how-to” of their duties. Educate and reinforce both our quality and safety standards/procedures to shop floor personnel. Evaluate and document progression (or regression) of shop personnel using evaluations and reports. Answer questions and provide feedback to shop personnel to improve their understanding of our facilities expectations Identify areas of improvement and opportunities for training within our workforce across varying disciplines. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent Proven fabrication experience both fitting and welding, with expertise in various welding processes (GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, SAW, etc.,) and material (Carbon/Stainless/Aluminum) Strong understanding and proficiency with fabrication equipment including, but not limited to, hand tools, welding machines, tooling equipment, power tools, etc. Working knowledge and understanding of NDE (Non-Destructive Examination) techniques (preferred) Basic computer literacy Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills Previous experience in a training or instructional role (preferred) #INDGEM #LI-FN1 #hiring #airproducts Air Products proudly values the skills, dedication, and leadership that Veterans bring to the table.
