We offer ultra pure carrier gases, a wide range of specialty gases and advanced precursor molecules, enabling equipment for safe distribution, purification and on-line purity control. On site, manufacturers rely on our expertise in providing full management of these gases, advanced molecules and equipment and in helping to continuously improve production processes. Electronic Specialty Gases (ESG) is a focused product line within the larger Air Liquide Electronics (ALE) organization that specializes in providing a diverse portfolio of highly purified specialty gases to our customers. The ESG product line is poised for strong growth over the coming years as leading semiconductor companies are making multi-billion dollar investments to expand manufacturing capacity in the United States and globally. The Morrisville PA plant is expanding its chemical process engineering and technical team to ensure it is well poised for these growth opportunities. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Provide supply chain services and support for internal and external products. Understand and manage the international and domestic shipping of raw materials into the Morrisville plant. Effectively manage freight costs to get the best possible service while maintaining the lowest possible cost. Fleet and preventative maintenance to ensure safe on time delivery of materials. Promote a safe work environment by leading the team and those around you. Job Responsibilities: Interface with internal and external customers to manage distribution/supply of raw materials and finished goods, both domestically and internationally Identify and troubleshoot logistics/customer issues Manage customer bulk supply forecasting Develop scorecards to monitor and manage Key Performance Indicators Responsible for annual goal setting related to business objectives and personnel management Asset Lease Management Manage lease agreements for proper fleet sizing, including end-to-end oversight of contract negotiations for maintenance, equipment, etc. at approximately $1.5MM annually Develop yearly preventative maintenance strategy for ESG fleet (75 trailers, including MEGC’s, Tube Trailers, and tractors) Control labor costs Oversee strategic planning for correct fleet sizing to support national and international distribution Ensure and manage compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including, but not limited to: DOT, OSHA, DHS, IMDG, and other agencies as required Understand and manage compliance and regulations and adhere to the legal requirements of the exporting countries and customs clearance; remain up-to-date on all current legal requirements Promote and follow all HSE objectives while maintaining a safe work environment Track the real-time transit of the goods and communicate with the stakeholders, operations, plant production, sales, management team, etc. Identify and execute process improvements and efficiencies, and maintain a continuous improvement mindset _____________________ Are you a MATCH? Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management or logistics or 10 years of related work experience with carrier management, ocean freight, or supply chain logistics Good Communication Skills: Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions. Must have initiative and be self-motivated Must be able to work in a team environment, be organization and multitasking Dedicated to quality and accuracy Establish new processes as required Proactively seek process efficiencies and improvements Promote change and influence team to embrace new business tools and methods Readily takes on new tasks and projects Train new International shipping coordinators as needed Good working knowledge of Oracle Applications or ERP systems. Ability to effectively utilize the Google Platform. Ability to coordinate issues with several levels within the organization, with customers and suppliers Experience with contingency planning and risk mitigation around port lockouts, dockworkers’ strikes, emergency reroutes, calamities and overseas customs issues Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform light work The Salary rate range for this position in Pennsylvania is $125,000.00 to $130,000.00 Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
