The technicians who operate this facility are tasked with ensuring efficient and reliable operations and are responsible for upholding compliance with all safety and regulatory procedures including OSHA, FDA, and DOT. Our ideal ASU Tech will thrive in a positive work environment that they not just enjoy, but contribute to; share in successes and overcome challenges together. In particular, you will: Monitor and maintain the safe operation of an Air Separation Facility which produces cryogenic products. Control flow, purities, and pressures of the manufacturing process using the computer operating system. May share on-call responsibilities with other operators to facilitate uninterrupted plant operations. May be responsible for monitoring the remote Vacuum Pressure Swing Absorption (VPSA) plants on a rotating basis while on call. Perform quality control functions associated with products to maintain quality assurance. Prepare and maintain accurate records in accordance with all safety, quality, regulatory and production requirements, such as plant readings, and plant maintenance, etc. Determine if immediate maintenance action is required and acts appropriately by informing the direct manager. ________________________ Are you a MATCH? High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or six months relatable experience and education. One or more years experience working with motors, compressors, pumps and drives in an industrial setting (preferred). Basic understanding of Process Instrumentation Drawings (PID) and Process Flow Diagrams. Must be able to work occasional overtime .
