Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlace Your role at Clorox: Pay Rate: $34.13 The Late Stage Product Movement is responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of materials required for production by closely collaborating with Business Unit (BU) Network Schedulers, Material Planners, and Logistics. The role involves meticulous management of just-in-time materials to align with dynamic production schedules, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and implementing robust inventory control measures. This position is considered a safety-sensitive position, meaning, a lapse of attention could adversely affect the safety of others by resulting in injury, illness, or death, including without limitation a position that includes the operating, repairing, maintaining, or monitoring of heavy equipment, machinery, or operation motorized vehicle. In this role, you will: Collaborate with BU Network Schedulers, Material Planners, and Logistics to align material requirements with production schedules for Just In time materials. Identify and source material required for production. Issue purchase orders. Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules. Implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs. Develop and maintain inventory management systems and procedures. Provide input on material availability and lead times for production planning purposes. Anticipate demand fluctuations and adjust inventory levels accordingly. Participate in Cycle Counts (Entering the cycle count numbers in SAP). Back up to Material Planners and/or Schedulers These Just in time materials are materials that have a quick turnaround and need daily management of bringing/pushing PO’s in/out due to capacity constraints/production plant shifts. Large quantity of materials to managed that are “just in time” and regular materials What we look for: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing production needs. Detail-oriented with a knack for precision and accuracy. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work in fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requires occasional overtime to meet production demands. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Years and Type of Experience: Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience, with a preference for candidates who have experience in the food manufacturing industry. Proven experience in materials coordination, supply chain, or inventory management. Familiarity with just-in-time inventory principles and practices. Proficiency in SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Eligibility Criteria (Internal Applicants ONLY) Application Period: Must be in “good standing” with the company, any written warning or above are not eligible to apply. Minimum of twelve (12) months in your current department and have a minimum of six (6) months in your current position after skill block is sign-off. If not signed off within the department the twelve e (12) months criteria is the only criteria that must be met. Shift Transfers must meet twelve (12) months in the department and shift.
