• Hiring Area: Within a 75-mile radius of Altoona, PA
• Lane Details: Runs 5 days a week starting in Altoona, PA
• Miles: 2500-2950 per week
• Pay: $1631 per week / $84,812 per year (excluding tailgates)
• Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday; weekends and holidays required
• Departs Altoona, PA at 06:00-07:00, with daily stops in Conway, PA and Bellevue, OH
• Home Time: Weekly with a 34-hour reset at home
• Equipment: 2020 or newer Kenworth or Freightliner trucks with tandem axle sleepers, automatic transmission, Elite Pre-Pass, outward-facing cameras, 53’ dry van trailers with swing doors
• Freight Handling: Combination of drop and hook and tailgating
• Truck Speed: 65 MPH pedal and cruise
• Bonuses:
• New Hire Transition Bonus: $500 (paid on second paycheck)
• Referral Bonus: $3000 ($1000 on second paycheck, $1000 at 60 days, $1000 at 120 days)
• Accessorial Pay:
• Stop Pay: $14 per stop (starts at 1st stop)
• Tailgating of Freight: $10 per tailgate
• Delay Pay: $17/hour (max $70, first hour free)
• Breakdown Pay: $17/hour (max 9 hours)
• Facilities: Onsite parking at Norfolk Southern in Altoona, PA
• Requirements: 6 months recent tractor-trailer experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, hazmat endorsement
• Additional Benefits:
• Work all holidays except Christmas Day with holiday pay
• Typically home evenings with 48 hours reset time
• Dog/passenger rider policies available
