Please note that this is an entry level Fabricator/Assembler I Position. Pay scale is from $16.98 to $17.61/hr. This is in addition to a $1/hour shift premium for 2nd shift. JOB DESCRIPTION: Safely perform job responsibilities. Spotwelds various components to include covers, clips, retainers, handles, etc. to meet daily production requirements for both internal and external customers. Must be attentive to details, be able to read prints, understand routings follow standard work instructions, and line-side safety templates. Must be able to learn basic computer operation and complete relevant quality inspections and production paperwork. Must be able to work proficiently and maintain rates on all jobs with little supervision. Must be able to handle basic material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and must be able to become forklift certified. Other responsibilities include running off-line drain hole press, washing parts using the JRI/Midbrook parts washer and/or assisting on presses at the discretion of the supervisor. Assist with ensuring work area is kept in a clean and orderly condition and report any unusual conditions to leadership. Perform 6S duties in assigned area(s). Must have physical ability to handle any size material in the manufacture of parts within department. Perform other job-related duties as required or specified by leadership. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to read and interpret blue prints, measuring devices and standard work documents and routings. Punctual daily attendance is a key requirement for success in this position.
