The Manager, Paid Media will manage a team of Paid Media Analysts, working to drive clients' paid media strategy across Rent.'s advertising solutions with a focus on Paid Search, Social, and Display. The Manager, Paid Media is accountable for campaign and account performance and ensuring business objectives are met. This role is equal parts client-facing and team management. This role acts in a consultative manner to build client trust, educate, and grow account penetration. The role must also be adept at managing and grooming a team of paid media analysts.
The Manager, Paid Media establishes and manages high-level strategy across a variety of paid media platforms including Google Ads, Facebook, Display, Mobile, and more. The position must stay up to date on the latest paid media trends and capabilities, identifying which clients they apply to as well as laying out the steps for implementation. Additionally, the Manager, Paid Media will manage, train, and coach a team of Paid Media Analysts who are responsible for campaign activation, optimization, and reporting. This role reports to the Director, Agency Operations and will be the account-lead for approximately 5-10 high-value clients in the multifamily property management industry.
The Manager, Paid Media will deliver outcomes in the following: - Train, coach, and mentor a team of paid media analysts, driving accountability and performance
- Enhance Rent. clients' paid media campaign performance through innovative strategies and data-driven tactics
- Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to clients by acting as their digital marketing consultant
- Efficiently allocate paid media budgets across channels, recommending changes or optimizations to meet desired business objectives
- Lead campaign performance calls with high-value clients
- Grow account penetration within your assigned client portfolio
- Lead process improvements, working collaboratively across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Client Services
First Year Outcomes: - Establish leadership within the Rent. Agency team, providing ongoing coaching and training to direct reports
- Provide clear direction and feedback to paid media analysts, ensuring campaign strategy and objectives are met
- Enable continuous learning and career development opportunities including the creation of a professional growth plan
- Fully understand Rent. client's marketing strategy and business objectives in order to make performance-driven recommendations
- Set initial strategies for new client onboarding, ensuring the campaign's goals, targeting, and KPIs are aligned with the client
- Drive client engagement through a regular cadence of monthly performance calls and quarterly business reviews
- Create a plan at scale for optimizing campaign performance across dozens of campaigns
- Lead in the development of paid media strategy for prospective clients
- Establish subject matter expertise and contribute to client trainings, content development, webinars, etc.
What we need from YOU: - 5 years experience in digital marketing and/or paid media, having developed strategy and executed campaigns across multiple channels, including search, display, social, and mobile advertising
- 1 years history of leading high-caliber digital marketing teams
- Growth mindset with experience thriving in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Demonstrated experience in a client-facing role, managing large paid media accounts focused on lead generation and direct response campaigns
- Proven ability to translate high-level client goals into paid media strategy
- Proven ability to analyze campaign data and come up with a performance-driven strategy, recommendation, or solution
- Demonstrated success operating in an environment where cross-functional collaboration with a sales team is required
- Track record of success and meeting deadlines under pressure
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- Google Ads Certified, Google Analytics Certified
