USA Properties Fund Inc (“USA PF”) is seeking a Data Analyst to assist in the design, development, utilization and integration of data systems for a vertically integrated real estate development company. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying efficient methods to organize, store, share, secure, evaluate and analyze data across current and future systems while maintaining strict security and confidentiality measures. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring data flow from system to system is seamless, effective and usable for our specific business needs. You will work closely with team members across multiple functional groups within our company as well as with external consultants in systems analysis and procedures including consulting with users to determine hardware, software and other system specifications

This role requires an appreciation of the intricacies of data management and deep understanding of databases and data analysis procedures. This role also requires strong technical acumen and exceptional troubleshooting abilities. Success in this role requires creativity and appropriate exercise of discretion and independent judgment.

Your primary objective will be to ensure the seamless and secure flow of information within and outside the organization, guaranteeing timely access and delivery of data. By supporting effective data management practices, you will contribute to the overall success of our organization. The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that could be performed.   • Assist in extracting data from multiple sources and turning that data into information to be used by decision-makers within the organization
  • Collaborate with consultants and IT managed services provider to create strategies and enforce policies for effective data management
  • Formulate and document techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data
  • Assist in evaluation, testing, creation or modification of systems and programs to determine suitability for the USA PF users and environment.
  • Devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis with attention to all technical aspects
  • Establish rules and procedures for data sharing with internal and external clients
  • Support and educate USA PF team members in the daily use of data systems and ensure adherence to company standards and policies
  • Assist corporate and property management teams with generating reports and data extraction when needed
  • Monitor and analyze information and data systems and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing those systems. This includes maintaining a thorough understanding of new technologies and available upgrades
  • Educating users on data publication and distribution policies to maintain the integrity of digital databases and archives and assist in protecting from security breaches and data losses
  • Troubleshoot data-related problems, including data movement and integrations, and propose maintenance or modifications
  • Assist with data extraction and analysis for annual corporate budget
  • Assist in developing and maintaining internal controls, processes, and procedures to safeguard company data and ensure accuracy of reportable data
  • Gain and maintain proficiency with data sharing/integration processes among the following systems: ProCore, Prophix, Yardi, COINS, Skalable Stream, Smartsheets, UKG, and various banking/financial institutions and monitor data flow between those systems
  • Configuration of the functional specifications of the above systems so data is created and stored correctly
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor

REQUIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES:

  • College/undergraduate degree in computer science or other relevant/related field
  • Five years’ work experience in a similar or related position
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports and correspondence
  • Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution etc.)
  • Familiarity with modern database and information system technologies
  • Advanced user in MS tools (Excel, Power Query, Access, Word etc.)
  • An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to interact and communicate in a professional, pleasant and effective manner with others
  • Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a variety of practical situations
  • Correctly follow standardized procedures that may occasionally call for minor deviations
  • Ability to think rationally beyond a specific set of instructions
  • Ability to work at a fast pace, perform duties while under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner

Limited travel for industry conferences as well as limited travel as needed for corporate events

Compensation: depending on experience, $55.30 per hour.
