USA Sport Group is Hiring a Youth Soccer Coach Near Somerset, NJ

Are you looking for an exciting and rewarding job as a soccer coach? We are in search of educators and coaches! As a Soccer Coach at USA Sport Group, you will be working with children aged 2-12, delivering high-quality classes that focus on both the technical and tactical aspects of the game all while ensuring a maximum FUN factor! This is a great opportunity to inspire the next generation of soccer enthusiasts while developing your skills as a coach or educator.

You should have a good playing background and a positive, upbeat personality that inspires the children. The Fall season lasts for 8–10 weeks, starting in early September and running through November. Sessions typically take place on Saturday mornings and/or midweek evenings, in blocks of 2 to 3 hours. Successful hires will be provided with comprehensive paid training, along with a complete uniform, equipment, and curriculum necessary for the role.

You will be required to attend a Virtual Introductory Hiring Presentation beginning in mid-July, where you can learn more about USA Sport Group and the coaching opportunities available, from the comfort of your own home! Following the presentation, all candidates will be required to attend a practical in-person hiring event to gain approval to coach with us which will take place in August. Successful hires at these events will then attend paid training, and receive the full uniform and equipment needed for the role.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Previous coaching, teaching, and/or athletic experience (preferred)
  • Great communication and time management skills
  • Fun and energetic personality that inspires children
  • Passionate about sports and teaching basic skills to beginners
  • Ability to relate and communicate with children and parents
  • Desire to learn and improve as a coach
  • Weekend availability
