Senior Machine Design Engineer - High-Volume Manufacturing / Li-ion Batteries

Boston - Hybrid (2-3 days / week onsite)

I am looking for Expert Machine / Mechanical Design Engineers to design equipment for a high-volume manufacturing line and own the entire process.

Working for a industry leading Li-ion Battery Technology Company.

Essential Requirements:

• 10 years experience in CAD Design for Manufacturing Processes.
• Beginning to End Machinery Design for High-Volume Manufacturing Line.
• Expert Solidworks.

Required Skills / Experience

• GD&T ANSI, Y14.5 m
• Expert understanding of pneumatics.
• Knowledge of web handling machinery and design principals for web handling.
• Knowledge of cam design (plate cams, barrel cams).
• Experience with design for DFM (Design for Manufacturability).

Education

• BSc Mechanical Engineering.
