Duties
  • You will serve as the Contract Management Support Officer (CMSO) in the IMCOM Pacific Directorate (ID-P), G8 Resource Management Division.
  • You will engage with ID-P and Garrison staff principals and other key managers in IMCOM’s Acquisition Planning and Program Management (APMP) review and reporting process.
  • You will manage IMCOM Pacific’s service contract requirements, analyze and evaluate functions and activities being considered for in-sourcing and coordinate offload approval memoranda.
  • You will be responsible for assignments involving procurement planning and procurement program execution activities for projects within the overall procurement program of installation support services requirements.
  • You will collect quantitative and qualitative data in significant areas relating it to procurement and contract operations.

  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) analyzing the effectiveness and cost savings of an organization's service contracts; 2) analyzing and determining cost elements and impact of procurement strategies; and 3) leading and staffing contract review packages for final review board approval; 4) drafting/finalizing strategies to meet most efficient and cost effective acquisition purchases. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
