Maintenance Project Consultant

A Senior Project Consultant with a maintenance focus, will work on a team and be assigned to a project to work at one of our client locations (you will travel from your home base anywhere in the U.S. or Canada) and benefit from the extensive experience of the members. You will learn the needed skill sets and business techniques required to be successful in our business as a business architect and change practitioner that brings the right solutions to each project. The specific position responsibilities are within the scope of project management with a focus on maintenance which relates to workflow analysis, planning, change process and systems implementation. We work closely with our clients in a partnership to achieve measurable results in process flow, productivity improvement as well as performance management.

FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

• Participate in maintenance focused project work that will help to design effective processes, organizations, and change and learning programs to drive real business benefits.
• Executing the client?s goals and objectives.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment and systems.
• Changing behaviors through daily side by side coaching.
• Identifying root cause issues and needed corrective actions.
• Helping frontline supervisors and managers become proactive vs. reactive.
• Changing cultures for sustainable results.
• Implementing a proven management operating system.
• Deliver trainings and workshops with a maintenance focus.
• Understanding and presenting the appropriate metrics and data.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The majority of our business comes from production manufacturing, maintenance and mining companies. As a result, while performing the duties of the job, you will be in and around large and/or moving equipment and experience a wide range of temperatures and climates. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud and employees may be required to live in rustic conditions.
