USI Holdings Corporation is Hiring an Employee Benefits New Business Coordinator, Select Near Chicago, IL

General Description: Support small employee benefits sales and account management teams. Assist with the effective transition of new business cases from sales to operations.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the onboarding of new sales. Work with Select producers and operations team leader/implementation specialist.
Facilitate the transfer of new sales from the producers to the appropriate operations team member.
Serve as the subject matter expert for producers on new client implementation forms and processes.
Assist with the preparation of needed materials for submission of new business to insurance carriers. Includes completing submissions to carrier partners as needed.
Request information from new clients and carriers and create internal files.
Maintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management and document management systems.
Request and monitor new business missing information from clients, producers, and carriers.
Verify accuracy of commissions on new business cases.
Ensure accurate and timely response to all outstanding issues.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal partners, clients, and carriers.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Entry-level position. College degree preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
Must be willing to earn a Health, Life and Disability insurance license.
Knowledge of BenefitPoint and ImageRight preferred.
Ability to set priorities and manage deadlines.
Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.
Detail oriented and prioritizes accuracy.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Eager to learn new concepts and further professional development.
Open to feedback and coaching.
Ability to define problems and generate potential solutions.

Physical Demands:

Work is performed in a climate-controlled office environment with minimal noise and limited to no exposure to chemicals or toxins. Employees operate office equipment including telephone - headset, computer, computer monitors, keyboard, mouse, copier, scanner, and mail machine. Physical tasks of job include walking, sitting, standing, lifting, and bending.

Analysis of Physical Demands:

Constantly (over 66% of time) work performed requires employees to use repetitive hand motions such as typing, using a keyboard, and sitting at a desk.
Frequently (34%-66% of time) work performed requires employees to handle and grasp things, walk on normal surfaces, stand, and bend.
Occasionally (1%-33% of time) work performed requires employees to drive to client appointments, have repetitive foot movements, walk on uneven or slippery surfaces to and from work and occasionally reach outward to grab things and bend.
Rarely (< than 1 hour per week) work performed requires lifting/carrying items that range from 10-50lbs, pushing/pulling items that range from 10-50lbs, twisting/turning including reaching over shoulder or above head, kneeling or squatting.

Salary Range: $45,000- $60,000. This is a bonus eligible position with a target incentive of 5%
