The Financial Center Associate 1 is responsible for supporting the supervisor in providing exceptional client service, operational and audit excellence, while making appropriate referrals. Handles routine transactions. Responsible for handling and balancing cash drawer.
Required
  • GED or High school diploma.
  • Clear and effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to operate standard office equipment such as calculators and PC’s.
  • Must be able to work with other lines of business.
  • Must be able to travel to other locations as needed.
  • Must be available to work on Saturdays.
  • Must be able to lift 25lbs.
Preferred
  • Financial institution experience.
  • 6 months previous cash handling experience.
Specific Job Functions
  • Performs all teller transactions
  • Responsible for balancing, can locate and reconcile discrepancies in cash drawer.
  • Contributes to the financial center’s success by achieving assigned referral goals.
  • Reports any discrepancies to the supervisor as necessary. Participates with end of day balancing procedures.
  • Reports to a supervisor for approvals when assistance is needed with transactions.
  • Provide customer assistance to service accounts and performs related duties as required.
  • Provide customer service using effective telephone skills.
  • Assists supervisor with maintaining accurate reports.
  • Assists in maintaining branch appearance standards
  • Works effectively and harmoniously with others.
  • Assists with mentoring associates.
  • Adheres to all bank policies and procedures.
  • Complies with regulatory rules and regulations, evidenced through successful completion of training and demonstrated ability.
  • Performs other duties as appointed by management.
