Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Las Colinas is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team!!
Schedule : M-F, 8AM-4 : 30PM
Maintenance Technician FT at Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Las Colinas :
Performs routine and preventative maintenance.
Responsible for general and emergency maintenance throughout the facility.
Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment.

Specific Job Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in the maintenance field (preferably in a hospital setting)
- Experience in Nursing homes assisted living and other outpatient type areas.
- Performs routine and preventative maintenance.
- Responsible for general and emergency maintenance throughout the facility.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment.
Competencies and responsibilities associated with each position are a combination of hospital wide and department specific standards.
The department specific standards include the competencies appropriate to the ages of the customer served. The employee’s competencies are evaluated on an on-going basis, and formally documented at least annually as part of the Performance Appraisal process.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to meet time standards for completion of work orders and assigned PM’s.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Basic knowledge of operation and maintenance of various types of equipment used in the hospital.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment.
- Demonstrate initiative in assuming responsibilities.
- Must be cooperative, discreet, and courteous in handling visitors and employees.
