Baylor Surgicare Waxahachie is seeking a Receptionist to join our team!!

Receptionist at Baylor Surgicare Waxahachie: 

• Performs clerical duties including distribution of mail and messages, monitoring office supplies, and maintaining postage meter
• Assist with chart preparation
• Assist with Admissions
• Check in pre-op patients
• Copy identification and insurance
• Communication with Pre-Op nursing staff
• Collect patient responsibility as determined by the Insurance Verifier
• Provide relief to Admitting, Office Assistant, and Scheduling as required
• Operates telephone system including receiving incoming calls, taking messages, identify nature of business and call
• Other duties and responsibilities as by Business Office Manager
• Participate in USPI EDGE program

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One to three months of related experience and/or training Or Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Communication skills: ability to effectively present information to patients, physicians, and other employees of surgery center
• Basic math skills.
