You Are:
The Business Intelligence Analyst provides user direction, analyzes data, and develops BI content for one or more functional units within client accordance with enterprise data governance processes. The BI Analyst also develops dashboards, dashboard components, metrics, and data pipelines. Responsibilities include analyzing and synthesizing information, and creating reports, presentations, and other materials. The BI Analyst creates reports and dashboards with tools such as Epic Slicer Dicer, Epic Workbench, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Reporting Services, and Power BI, and creates ad hoc SQL queries.
The Opportunity:
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What you need:
o Preferred but not required: (will train the right candidate) Epic Cogito Certification:
o Experience analyzing data and creating reports.
o Experience writing SQL queries.
o Experience creating reports with tools such as Epic Slicer Dicer, Epic Workbench, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Reporting Services, and Power BI.
o Ability to work with a computer terminal for extended periods of time.
o Ability to handle multiple projects.
o Ability to handle stressful situations.
o Ability to work independently with little supervision.
o Ability of solve problems
o Excellent technical aptitude
o Excellent interpersonal skills
o Excellent organizational skills
o Flexible and effective in a team environment
o Must acquire Epic Cogito Certification within 12 months, 6 months is preferred.
o Must acquire Epic Clinical Data Model Certification with 18 months.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: New York
Compensation Range: $98,000-$148,000
Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits.
