You AreUST ® is looking for talented and creative QA Automation Engineer. The candidate should be strong in Java which will be used for QA Automation, but also understand the project E2E and the business value. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. The ideal candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and knowhow to collaborate effectively with domain experts and IT leadership team.
The Opportunity
- Work as part of a cross-functional agile development team in all phases of development and production support
- Collaborate with other development and engineering teams in building, deploying and monitoring services.
- Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding, testing and documentation of solutions.
- Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
- Perform improvement activities, code review, code optimization and query tuning.
- Ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved.
- Maintain thorough and well-written documentation at a high project level, as well as at the coding level.
What You Need
- 6-8 years of experience in Software Testing and Automation Testing on Web/API.
- Expert in automation testing framework development
- Experience on API Testing using Selenium with TestNG, jUnit, Data Driven frameworks and Page Object Model Framework.
- Good knowledge in developing REST API tests with Java Frameworks
- Expertise in CI/CD using Jenkins/Go CD
- Good Knowledge on Java programming language
- Experience in Jira, HP QC or ALM bug tracking tools
- Good knowledge with Agile Software Development methodology, STLC and SDLC
- Solid Understanding in Test Design, Test Planning, Test Execution, Defect reporting and tracking.
- Expertise in implementing Continues integration using Maven.
- Good knowledge in Maven
- Expertise in Sanity, GUI, Functional, System, Regression and integration Testing concepts
- Good exposure in Bug Life cycle methods
- Ability to perform database testing using SQL Queries.
- Good Team Player and involved in Team Training Activities
- Good Communication and Writing Skills.
