- Assists skilled maintenance workers.
- May perform simple repairs on electrical equipment and machinery or minor repairs to the facilities including painting, plastering, carpentry and plumbing.
- Effectively communicates with personnel of other departments, medical staff, patients and co-employees while performing duties and with suppliers to purchase materials .
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-3 years of general maintenance or building maintenance experience
- Experience supporting a large hospital or medical facilit y
