Position Summary:

The Endosocpy Unit is expanding and looking for qualified individuals to join our Endoscopy Team.

The G.I. Endoscopy Technician allows individuals the opportunity for on the job education and training to broaden their knowledge of gastroenterology. This individual works under supervision, to assist with patient care in the Endoscopy procedure room with therapeutic procedures, complete reprocessing of procedural instruments, supplies maintenance and room set up and tear down. The G.I. Endoscopy Technician will complete educational training and exams and will be assigned a designated mentor(s) to develop skills necessary to perform the G.I. Endoscopy Technician essential functions within the scope of the role.

The Endoscopy Unit is open Monday - Friday. Closed Major Holidays. This position is 4-10 hour day shifts with a rotating day off.

Position Qualification:

Must be detailed oriented.

High School Diploma, Associates degree or other technical education preferred. Certifification in CPSBD CFER (Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor) preferred, but not necessary to start.

Previous experience in endoscopy or central sterilization preferred, but will train the right canidate.
