The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, ranked No. 1 hospital in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and No. 2 hospital in Texas by U.S. News and World Report, is seeking a full-time time rehabilitation psychologist experienced in providing neurobehavioral assessment and rehabilitation counseling services in a large medical setting.The Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, chaired by Dr. Heakyung Kim, provides services at Parkland Memorial Hospital, Clements University Hospital, and their affiliated outpatient clinics. Minimum Qualifications:This position requires a doctorate in clinical psychology from an accredited university.Preferably, the candidate will have 2-4 years psychology practice experience.In addition, the selected candidate must obtain a Texas Psychology License, must be Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Professional Psychology in Rehabilitation Psychology and/or Neuropsychology.Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Role Responsibilities and Duties:

The ideal candidate will provide high quality, comprehensive clinical care to inpatients and outpatients as assigned.Teaching responsibilities will include medical students, PM&R residents and fellows in didactic lectures and group settings as well as participation in various multidisciplinary conferences.Research will vary depending on the candidate’s interest.
