Responsible for developing and coordinating University wide processes that ensure UTA is compliant with regulations, policy requirements, and best practices in the areas of export control, foreign influence vulnerabilities, international research collaborations, and protection of intellectual property. In a university setting this presents a unique challenge because it requires balancing national security concerns with traditional concepts of university openness and academic freedom. Will work with a wide number of stakeholders in order to develop a system of controls and transparency.Remote for the state of Texas only.
