Utah Community Action in Tooele, UT is seeking to hire an Infant & Toddler Lead Teacher for our Early Head Start preschool! Typical schedule 7:30am -4:00pm Monday-Friday. This position works 40 hours a week, year-round. *** A Child Development Associate certificate (CDA) in Infant/Toddler or an Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
Our Lead Teacher earns a competitive wage of $19.34/hour . We also offer generous benefits , including health, dental, vision, a flexible spending account (FSA), a healthcare savings account (HSA) with up to a $2,500 match, a 401k plan with 5% match, short and long-term disability, accident insurance, life insurance, tuition reimbursement (conditions apply ), 11 paid holidays, paid time off between Christmas and New Year's, accrue guilt free PTO up to 24 days a year, and an hour of paid time on Fridays for self-care/mental health. Potential for FCDL student loan forgiveness after 120 eligible payments.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A LEAD TEACHER
As an Infant & Toddler Lead Teacher, you come to work each day excited and ready to make a difference in children's lives. Working cooperatively with another teacher, you teach a class of 8 children. You help develop weekly lesson plans to ignite the curiosity and growth of the children in our preschool. You track each child's growth through observations, portfolio documentation, developmental checklist, and assessment data.
Since you love interacting with children, you can definitely say that you get paid to do what you love.
