Utah Surgical is Hiring a Billing Representative - St. George Near Saint George, UT
We are looking for a Full-Time Billing Specialist for our highly skilled and fast-paced General Surgeons office in St. George, Utah
Prerequisites:
- Be available Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm & Friday 9:00 am to 3:00pm
- Great phone and in-person etiquette
- Happy and positive personality
- Well organized
- Ability to make proactive autonomous decisions
- Ability to adapt, multi-task and support co-workers to ensure a cohesive patient experience
- Experience utilizing various software (ex: Excel, Word, Electronic Medical Records, etc.)
Job duties (include but are not limited to):
- Answering phones promptly and professionally
- Submit and obtain prior authorizations for scheduled surgeries in a timely manner
- Accurately input payments from patients and insurances
- Work insurance claim denials
- Accounts Resolution of unpaid insurance claims
- Friendly Communication with other provider offices and hospitals
Preferences (preferred but not required):
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Previous experience working in a medical practice
