The Hans Haecker lab in the Division of Microbiology & Immunology is seeking a team- oriented Research Technician (Senior Lab Specialist) with interest in Immunology, Molecular Biology and mouse models related to autoimmunity and inflammation. Our laboratory offers a strong collaborative environment where you will conduct clinically-relevant research using a variety of molecular, biochemical, and cell-based technologies to understand how the innate immune system recognizes and responds to pathogens, how genetic mutations in innate immunity contribute to inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, and how obtained information can be used to develop novel therapeutic strategies.Interested candidates will assist the PI by supporting efficient laboratory operations, such as providing technical support for ongoing laboratory projects, including data collection and analysis, maintaining the mouse colony, performing minor animal surgery and assisting with general lab duties such as purchasing and equipment maintenance.
