What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Health Director position at Ute Mountain Ute Tribe?
Summary: The Community Health Director administer the day-to-day operations of the Community Health Department. The Community Health Director also serves as the Public Health Director and is the Public Health authority for the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe. Responsible for carrying out all Public Health related functions including emergency preparedness exercises and drills. Works closely with the Indian Health Services (I.H.S.) clinic staff in the field setting, providing education, training, support and follow-up care.
Minimum Qualifications:
Registered Nurse, with a minimum of two (2) years in the nursing field.
Must hod a current Colorado (or Compact State) Licensure without encumbrance from the Board of Nursing
Valid drivers license, and insurable by the Tribe
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
Job Type: Full-time
