Control Center Monitoring Technician Edustaff - part-time Qualifications
Commitment to high-level customer service
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional approach to interactions with district staff, municipal, utility or other workers
Ability to use critical thinking to respond to monitoring situations
Detail oriented with ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
Computer skills necessary, Microsoft Office Suite preferred
Good work ethic, honesty, and integrity
Good attendance
High School diploma required
Description
Monitor 43 district facilities using specialized systems at the districts centralized Control Center including fire panels, heating and ventilation, electrical power, food service equipment, security cameras, door access and other systems
Contact public safety personnel with clear and concise information in event of an urgent or emergency situation
Report all issues and assure compliance with district policies and procedures
Maintain accurate log of activities and interactions
Escalate issues as appropriate and necessary
Provide first point of contact for municipal and external service providers including public safety
Handle calls from district staff and external service providers determining appropriate course of action
Work professionally with district staff, public safety representatives, municipalities, utilities, and third-party service providers
Provide appropriate transfer of event and situational information to ensure continuity at end of work day
May be required to fill multiple shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
