Position Summary:

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
• Provides day to day direct support to their crew(s).
• Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Skills and Specification Requirements:

Primarily our work is within the substation perimeter and includes but is not limited to:

• Installing new equipment in relay control houses.
• Removing and replacing old equipment in substation control houses.
• Pulling and Terminating control cables in control houses.
• Replacing and installing new battery systems in control houses.
• Installing and terminating Cat V cables and fiber optic cables.
• Wiring and rewiring equipment in substation yards - breakers, transformers, CCVT's AC & DC distribution panels.

• Able to work in fast-paced multi-functional changing environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attentiveness to detail.
• Possession of strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Able to work flexible hours to complete job task at hand.
• Able to multi-task and manage priorities.
• Must be honest, assertive, and systematic.
• Responsible for ensuring that their company vehicle is properly maintained.
• Must be capable of working in close proximity of energized substation equipment.
• Must be capable of working in confined space areas.

Education and Experience Required:

• AA degree in Construction, and/or Electrical Services or equivalent work experience.
