Site Supervisor
We are seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor to join our team. The UMS Site Supervisor will receive comprehensive training from an experienced UMS Field Service Manager, covering all areas of expected responsibilities.
The UMS Site Supervisor ensures that the project's objectives are met. Site Supervisors assist with overseeing the project to ensure the desired result is achieved, the most efficient resources are used, and the different interests involved are satisfied. The UMS Site Supervisor should be self-motivated and willing to learn and share ideas and best practices. Site Supervisors are expected to have leadership skills, honesty, and integrity and to be a team player within our organization.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Train installers in proper safety and installation processes.
- Coordinate daily work assignments dispersed to field team members.
- Transfer new meter inventory to installers and supervise the end-of-day meter inventory drop-off process.
- Address all issues or concerns promptly and escalate to the Field Service Manager as needed.
- Perform required safety inspections/toolbox sessions and ensure project resources follow the required safety practices and installation processes.
- Observe the performance of field team members, ensuring required productivity is achieved, and report concerns to the Field Service Manager.
- Directly report to the Field Service Manager.
- Achieving standards of safety, productivity, and quality of work.
- Mentor and guide installation crews, achieving low employee turnover and high morale.
- Ability to travel and work out of town within their Region for the duration of the project.
- UMS will work with the Site Supervisor for approved/scheduled trips home during the project.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma
- 2 years related utility/plumbing and supervisory experience are required.
- Effective Communication skills
- Organized and Detail Oriented
- Reliability and dependability, and ability to train and oversee employees.
- Possess the ability to effectively oversee and train other employees.
- Must be willing and able to perform all job duties related to meter installation.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Must be willing to take on call nights and weekends.
