Utility Staffing Group is currently hiring Battery Storage Estimator positions in Dallas and Fort Worth, TX.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may also be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee may occasionally be exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

Job duties for Battery Storage Estimator :

• Will be in office- traveling to work sites "boots on the ground" to understand the project itself
• Review RFP documents and develop cost proposals
• Conduct electrical takeoffs and generate electrical construction estimates
• Create subcontractor bid packages and review pricing
• Aggregate bid inputs and create estimates
• Procure materials and coordinate with suppliers
• Ensure all proposal deliverables are submitted on time
• Communicate with internal subject matter experts for clarification
• Generate assumptions and draft proposal language
• Verify accuracy and competitiveness of cost estimates
• Collaborate with Project Manager for project handoff and contract review.

Qualifications for Battery Storage Estimator :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 Years of relevant experience as a commercial electrical estimator. Experience with Utility scale project estimating preferred
• High Proficiency level with computer navigation and applications such as Adobe Acrobat Pro or similar PDF editing apps, Microsoft Office 365; Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook
• Knowledge of accubid, excel. Knowledge of excel- V-lookups, Pivot Table
• Electrical Construction knowledge
• Interior Commercial Electric (A Plus but not required)
• Medium Voltage Construction (OH & UG)
• Knowledge of NESC or NEC Specifications
• Must be able to bend, reach, grasp
• Ability to stand for duration of shift
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs repetitively
• Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
