Utility Trailer of Dallas is Hiring an ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK Near Dallas, TX
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process and post customer invoices and payments accurately and efficiently
- Monitor customer accounts for non-payment or delayed payment, and take appropriate action to collect outstanding balances
- Reconcile accounts receivable records with general ledger balances
- Generate and distribute customer statements and invoices
- Prepare and submit reports on accounts receivable activity, including aging reports and collection activity reports
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and payment issues
- Maintain accurate records of all customer communication and correspondence
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Provide support to other accounting staff as needed
- Associate degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Experience with accounting software (CDK)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Heavy Duty Truck and/or Semi-Trailer industry
