Job Description:
We are seeking a part-time diligent and customer-focused Front Desk Concierge/Security associate to join our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in maintaining order and providing exceptional service at our front desk and lobby area. Your responsibilities will include greeting shareholders and visitors, managing security protocols, and ensuring efficient communication flow within the building. This position will not have a set schedule at first. Ideally we are looking for someone who can fill-in for vacations, call-outs and when additional staff is needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a professional and welcoming environment at the front desk and lobby.
Monitor building security cameras and report any irregularities promptly.
Answer all incoming calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments.
Enter work orders, maintenance requests, and messages into our management software.
Receive and organize packages and manage mailroom operations.
Coordinate secure key distribution and retrieval.
Schedule and oversee moves, and manage elevator reservations.
Notify management and maintenance teams during urgent situations on all shifts.
Communicate effectively with residents during emergency situations.
Ensure compliance with pool and parking lot usage.
Ensure cleanliness and safety of lobby and elevator areas daily.
Maintain records related to front desk operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on delivering high-level customer service.
Ability to meet physical requirements, including handling packages and performing cleaning tasks.
Basic proficiency in using telephones and computers.
Proactive and initiative-driven attitude towards problem-solving and service delivery.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Self-managed.
Additional Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed. Reliable transportation is needed.
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
