Job SummaryThe Clinical Nurse Educator develops and deploys standardized education and training based on nursing process and practice.
The incumbent may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation: 4 Year/Bachelor’s Degree Required - Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing. BSN required. MSN strongly preferred. Specialty Certification preferred.
Experience: 3 Years of Experience as a Labor & Delivery RN required - Minimum of three years of clinical practice in area of specialization. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy for additional details.
Licensure:
- Current RN license in appropriate state required
- Certified in AHA BLS Healthcare Provider, AHA ALS
- AHA BLS Healthcare Providers/ AHA ACLS certified instructor preferred
- Certification in specialized area preferred
Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Critical care background helpful, but not required.

Work Function/Activity: Sedentary to Light Physical Demand
The job requires frequent sitting and standing, occasional walking, and bending/stooping. Frequent repetitive arm, hand, and finger movements. Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills. Attention to detail and ability to write legibly. Ability to lift/push/pull up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
