LITIGATION ATTORNEY

We are seeking a professional and skilled LITIGATION ATTORNEY to join our firm and play an integral role on our growing litigation team. You will work with cutting-edge technology to deliver superior customer service. Your Responsibilities Will Include –

  • Direct legal decisions throughout all phases of litigation process
  • Understand the applicability of laws and statutes to the potential recovery of each case
  • Communicate with clients and medical providers to ensure the highest quality medical care for clients
  • Negotiate personal injury settlements
  • Depose parties and fact and expert witnesses
  • Aggressively pursue advantageous litigation tactics for the advancement of settlement position or trial
  • Draft and argue motions
  • Attend mediation
  • Make court appearances on behalf of the firm
  • Prepare for and attend trial as 1st or 2nd chair as appropriate

Your Qualifications & Skills –

  • Licensed to practice law in State of Texas
  • 3 to 5 years of litigation and trial experience in Texas personal injury cases
  • 1st Chair Experience (preferred), 2nd Chair Experience (required)
  • Experience handling contested motions
  • Experience taking and defending depositions of parties and experts
  • Experience at mediation in personal injury cases
  • Willing to work a pre -litigation caseload while building up a full litigation docket
  • Computer literate and familiar with document drafting and e-filing
  • Light travel throughout Texas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Efficient and effective with overall time management
  • Determined to learn and adapt in a high-paced atmosphere
  • Able to multi-task and handle a high-volume litigation docket
  • Detail oriented, strategic thinker, and aggressive advocate
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred, but not required

Your Job Type / Schedule –

  • Full-Time
  • 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays as needed

Your Work Location –

  • Hybrid “in-office & remote” after 90-days of employment
  • Dallas, TX 75240
