SummaryVIP Mortgage in seeking a motivated and eager to learn Accounting Clerk. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for preparing and keeping financial records up to date, and prepares reports to ensure accurate accounting records.
Essential Job Functions
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, reaching overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally, bending at the waist, and hearing and speaking to communicate and provide information to others.
Salary: $18.27 - $19.23 per hour
Essential Job Functions
- Reconcile invoices
- Reconcile bank statements
- Create funding and sales wire imports
- Assist in preparing financial statements
- Communicate and answer questions on invoices to appropriate parties
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Help accounting manager with tasks as needed
- Assist on A/P projects as needed
- Research support to the Controller
- Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned
- Associates degree (B.A.) in accounting, business administration or related field, preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in field or related area
- Strong professionalism and communication, both oral and written
- Well organized with ability to prioritize and multi-task; attention to detail
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe knowledge, required.
