San Bernardino County Regional Parks Department has a need for (5) Lifeguard staff to help maintain park operations during the 2024 swim season through Labor Day, September 2, 2024.

All candidates will be required to have current certifications prior to reporting.

Certifications : All applicants are required to provide Lifeguard , CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), First Aid, and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) certifications valid through September 2024.

All required certifications must be completed prior to the first day of employment.

Candidate with proficient bilingual capabilities encouraged; BR / hr (OT rate : BR). Those that do not have proficient bi-lingual capabilities will be subject to a reduced rate; BR / hr (OT Rate : BR)

Requirement description :

Applicants must be at least sixteen (16) years of age. Note : An approved work permit will be required prior to the first day of employment if under the age of eighteen (18).

Strong swimmer with experience in a swim facility. Candidates who have participated in aquatic sports encouraged.
