Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Health Information Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing and managing health information data to ensure quality, accuracy, accessibility, and security in both paper and electronic systems.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage health information data by ensuring its quality, accuracy, accessibility, and security
- Maintain and process medical records according to established procedures
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements concerning health information management
- Use various classification systems to code and categorize patient information for databases and registries
- Protect the security of medical records to ensure confidentiality
Experience:
- Experience in working with medical terminology, medical records, and medical office systems is preferred
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) software

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
