V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Business Analyst 4 for our premier client in Richmond, Virginia.

Education And Experience »

• Extensive experience in the use of the computers and software (Microsoft 365) applications. Excel pivot tables, complex spreadsheets, etc.: 5 Years.
• Extensive in financial analysis and forecasting and forecasting: 5 Years.
• Customer service to broad audiences, professionals, vendors, team members and executive staff: 5 Years.
• General knowledge of accounting practices and financial management: 5 Years.

Highly Desired

• Experience in performance metrics, measurements, methods and targets to promote financial accountability: 3 Years.
• Experience with Cardinal Financial system: 1 Years.

What You’ll Do

Job Responsibilities:

• Plans, organizes, develops, maintains, and coordinates the development and implementation of fiscal operations, processes, policies and procedures for the MN program.
• Will perform monthly program/project expense analysis and assist with the review and analysis of MN expenditures and budgets.
• Will be responsible for supporting executive decision making and presenting the financial aspects of projects to senior management.
• Requires understanding budgeting and accounting with the ability to analyze complex business problems and recommend solutions.
• Support of the fiscal, budgetary, and accounting operations for AMD.
• Support development of the annual agency’s MN budget and reviews statewide expenditure and spend plan data.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of performance metrics, measurements, methods, and targets to promote financial accountability, and assist in identifying performance improvement opportunities.
• Provide good customer service to internal team members & external customers, comprehensive analytical skills (Excel, MS Word), being an effective communicator, as well as being self-motivated and showing initiative while accomplishing the task at hand.
