Job Title: IT Finance Applications Manager

Location: St. Louis, MO 63102 (Local candidates only)

Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 (based on experience)

Type: Direct Hire (Non-contract)

About the Role: My client is seeking an IT Finance Applications Manager to lead their Finance Applications team. This team supports the Finance and Procurement departments by enhancing and supporting Oracle ERP Finance, Procurement, and Inventory modules within the Oracle E-Business Suite and other related applications such as Tagetik budgeting and Trapeze Enterprise Asset Management.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (12.2 and above), Trapeze EAM, Tagetik, Microsoft Project, and relational database concepts.
• Knowledge of the transit industry or public sector is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of 6, managing all aspects of application development, implementation, and support for the Finance and Procurement IT portfolio.
• Set goals, monitor performance, conduct appraisals, and make staffing recommendations.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, and contingency plans.
• Monitor and report project progress, providing post-implementation support.
• Engage with key customers to identify needs and establish work priorities.
• Stay current on ERP application capabilities and best practices.
• Collaborate in planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications and enhancements.
• Manage a budget of $1M-$2M, balancing support and development needs.

Qualifications:

• Leadership experience, with a history of leading initiatives or projects.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP, especially in Finance, Procurement, and Inventory modules.
• Familiarity with budgeting software like Tagetik and maintenance/asset tracking systems like Trapeze EAM.
• Experience as a functional team lead or project manager on Oracle ERP projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to understand ERP systems and technical issues.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work independently under pressure.
