General Clerk II
Primary Location: Washington, District of Columbia

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a General Clerk II for our premier client in Washington, District of Columbia .

Education and Experience "

• High School Diploma.
• Experience using Kwiktag - Desired, Not mandatory.
• Data Entry experience - 1 Year.
• Professional work experience in office settings - 1 Year.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities "

• Ability to work independently or with minimum supervision.
• Ability to follow instructions and guidelines.
• Intermediate computer skills.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files.
• Destruction of files once converted to electronic format.
• Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of all information.
• Always adhere to District policies and procedures.

Deliverables:

• Organized and updated filing systems both physically and digitally.
• Completed data entry tasks accurately and efficiently related to cataloging and saving electronic files through Kwiktag.
• Weekly progress reports detailing tasks completed and any outstanding items.
• Timely responses to emails and phone calls.
• Box up all documentation marked for retention that will be forwarded to the Office of Personnel Management.
