Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

Job Description: Must be familiar with QuickBooks and have basic accounting knowledge. Will work closely with Senior Accountant and import logistics team by handling a variety of accounting support tasks and data entry.

Tasks include:

• Perform data entry to record business transactions in purchasing, account payables, and account receivables.
• Assist with AR collections and reconcile invoice discrepancies as needed.
• Verify and ensure accuracy of purchase orders, sales contracts, terms of payment and other charges.
• Update data on Excel spreadsheets.
• Coordinate with Accounting and Operations teams to finish tasks or other duties assigned in a timely manner.
• Monthly bank and credit card reconciliation.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (incl. Excel, Word, Outlook).
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Highly organized.
• Able to problem solve
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
