V2X is Hiring a Quality Control and Receiving Inspector - Madison, MS. Near Madison, MS
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough initial inspections of all received goods, including parts, components, and materials, for condition, conformity, and quantity.
Verify documentation for received items, ensuring that parts' certifications, traceability, and purchase order requirements are accurate and complete.
Collaborate with Production Control to facilitate the prompt and organized transfer of inspected items, supporting seamless production flow.
Identify and report any discrepancies, damage, or quality concerns, initiating Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs/QNs) and ensuring items are properly quarantined pending decisions.
Maintain meticulous records of inspections, findings, and actions taken, ensuring traceability and compliance with FAA regulations and company policies.
Coordinate with internal teams, including procurement, logistics, and production, to communicate inspection results, provide feedback, and drive quality improvements.
Assist in periodic inventory audits, reconciliation activities, and other duties as assigned by the Quality Control Manager.
Assist in the instigation of warranty claims for parts that fail to meet required specifications, standards or purchase order requirements.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in quality assurance or aviation maintenance is preferred.
2 years of experience in aviation parts inspection, quality control, or a related field within an FAA 145 repair station is preferred. (is preferred)

Proficiency in using inspection tools, reading technical documents, and understanding part
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and maintain strong relationships with multiple departments.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software and common office applications. SAP skills are strongly desired.
