Overview :
The Microsoft-Stack Azure Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for working independently at times, and within a team setting to oversee and mitigate cybersecurity threats across the organization. This individual will be responsible for being involved in the design, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of cybersecurity systems (Microsoft-based)) and processes to include identity and access management (IAM), multifactor authentication (MFA) and authorization, Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), Single Sign-on (SSO), SAML, Oauth, access control management, etc. You will work in collaboration with cross-functional teams that will be involved in merger and acquisition (M&A) activities, IT due diligence efforts, and developing risk mitigation strategies.
Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information/Cybersecurity, or related field from four-year college or university; or at least 5 ( ) years related experience and relevant technical certifications.
• 5 years' experience in Cybersecurity / Information Security supporting enterprise environments composed of contemporary IT infrastructure-hybrid-on prem/cloud architecture
  
  • Skilled in establishing, evaluating, and resolving identity and access management (IAM) issues, policies, procedures and best practices using Microsoft Azure Active Director / Entra ID, LDAP, etc.
    
    • Administering user accounts, establishing security permissions, and role-base access controls (RBAC) for internal users, applications, and devices
      
      • Skilled in Privileged identity Management (PIM) to mitigate risks of excessive, unnecessary, or misused access
  • Configuring, assessing, and managing multifactor authentication (MFA) and authorization protocols (SSO, Oauth, SAML, & OpenID Connect)
  • Responding to and managing incidents and infosec investigations using Microsoft tools (Defender & Sentinel)
• A strong foundation of Information Technology components to include Networking, Server, Virtualization, Cloud (Azure), Security, Storage, Disaster Recovery, and Backup Solutions
  
  • The ability to work with end users to troubleshoot issues that involve cross-functional team collaboration while providing excellent customer service and support
• Willingness to travel - on a limited basis
